Kirsten saw a chiropractor initially at 9 years old, after suffering from persistent headaches, at a chiropractor in Newcastle NSW. After experiencing chiropractic and the effect it had on her headaches, she knew that this was something she wanted to do. Her interest in anatomy and the nervous system continued to grow, inspiring her to move to Sydney to complete the chiropractic course.
Kirsten graduated with a Masters of Chiropractic from Macquarie University in Sydney. After working in a clinic is Sydney, she moved up to Townsville in January for a sea change and a dog (hopefully dogs).
Kirsten uses a range of techniques such as Diversified, Gonstead, Drop-piece, dry needling and soft tissue techniques to vary the treatment depending on the patient.
Due to her experience in chiropractic, she wants to do further study in dizziness and headaches/migraines, and into sports chiropractic.
Kirsten enjoys yoga, swimming and running in her free time.
